Our “A.D.O.P.T.” (Animals Depend On People Too) program allows you to help us support the Wildlife Discovery Center by sponsoring one of our animals. We rely almost solely on the generosity of the community to survive as we receive very little tax support. There are different levels of sponsorship but our most popular option is for folks wishing to sponsor an animal in someone’s name (birthday, special occasion, special interest, etc.).
So where does my sponsorship go? All proceeds from the sponsorship program goes into a special
account set up specifically for the ongoing care of all of our animals. Your sponsorship will be earmarked for the animal you are sponsoring. The funds will be used for: food, supplies and equipment, ongoing
veterinary care, and other important aspects for their ongoing care. We are very proud of the health of our animals and your support will help us continue to do so. When you sponsor an animal for $110
per year, here’s what you get!
- Name prominently displayed on your sponsored animal’s exhibit
- Certificate suitable for framing
- Natural History Information and other fun facts about your animal
- Opportunities to visit your animal during non public hours
So how does someone go about sponsoring one of our animals? Easy! The first thing is to determine which animal you want to sponsor. Then click HERE to fill out the proper form. You will then be contacted with payment information.
